About Hinterland

Hinterland started the way most good things do: two friends standing on a summit with no good way to remember it. No shirt worth wearing, no sticker worth sticking. So we made our own.

Between 2017 and 2018, in our spare time, we made each 14er with a pen tablet and a computer. It took about a year and a half. This was way before AI was a thing.

Every trail tells a story — we wanted to help you take that story home.

High alpine lake in Colorado

The 14ers

Colorado's peaks above 14,000 feet are some of the most demanding and rewarding hikes in the country. We've designed art for each one — something worth putting on your wall, your water bottle, your vehicle, or your pack.

Backcountry Bigfoot

Along the way, Sasquatch showed up. He's been out there longer than any of us — fishing, hunting, skiing, biking, paddling. Our Bigfoot line follows him through all of it.

Fly fishing at a high alpine lake in Colorado

We're not a big company. Everything we make is designed with intention, look good, and mean something to the person wearing or displaying it.

When we're not designing, you'll find us out on the trail — fly fishing the high alpine lakes tucked into these mountains. It's been just as much a part of this journey as the peaks themselves.

Thanks for being here — and for getting after it out there.
