14ers Card Game Giveaway — Official Rules

No purchase or payment necessary to enter or win. A purchase, pledge, or payment will not increase your chances of winning. Void where prohibited.

Sponsored by Hinterland Outdoors (“Sponsor”). Based in Colorado, USA.

Promotion Period

The Giveaway begins OCTOBER 1, 2025 and ends on NOVEMBER 30, 2025. (the “Promotion Period”). Entries received outside the Promotion Period will not be eligible.

Eligibility

Open to legal residents of the 50 United States and D.C. who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.
Employees, contractors, and agents of Sponsor and their immediate family/household members are not eligible.
Void where prohibited by law.

How to Enter (No Purchase Necessary)

There are two free ways to enter during the Promotion Period (limit one (1) entry per person, regardless of entry method):

Email List Entry: Join Sponsor’s email list at hinterland.shop (or remain subscribed if you are already on the list). Entries are taken from the list as of the end of the Promotion Period.
Alternate Method of Entry (AMOE): Email your first and last name, and the subject line “14ers Card Game Giveaway Entry,” to info@hinterland.shop during the Promotion Period. You will receive one (1) entry without joining the email list.

Automated, bulk, or duplicate entries are not permitted and may be disqualified. Sponsor’s clock and records are final.

Prizes & Approximate Retail Value (ARV)

Prizes: Ten (10) winners will each receive one (1) copy of the 14ers Card Game (the “Prize”).
ARV: Approx. $20 per game; total ARV up to $20. Any difference between stated and actual value will not be awarded.
No cash alternative. Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value in its sole discretion if the Prize becomes unavailable.

Subject to Kickstarter Funding & Fulfillment Timing

The Prize is contingent upon successful funding and production of the 14ers Card Game by the game publisher. If the Kickstarter campaign does not fund or the game is not produced, Sponsor may (at Sponsor’s sole discretion) substitute a prize of equal or greater value or cancel the Giveaway without further obligation. Estimated prize fulfillment is Fall 2026, subject to change based on production and logistics.

Winner Selection & Odds

On or around December 2025, Sponsor will randomly select ten (10) potential winners from all eligible entries received. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

Winner Notification & Requirements

Potential winners will be notified by email at the address used to enter (or on file for email list subscribers).
Potential winners must reply within 7 days of notification with a valid shipping address and any requested eligibility confirmations. If a potential winner does not respond in time, is ineligible, or the email bounces, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected.
Prizes will ship to U.S. addresses only unless Sponsor explicitly states otherwise.
Winners are responsible for any taxes associated with acceptance or use of the prize. Sponsor may require a completed IRS form if legally necessary.

Publicity & Rights Granted

Except where prohibited, by entering you grant Sponsor the right to use your name, city/state, and submitted content for promotional purposes related to this Giveaway in any media, without additional compensation or notice.

General Conditions

Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process, violating these Official Rules, or acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner.
Sponsor may cancel, suspend, or modify the Giveaway if fraud, technical failures, force majeure, or any other factor impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Giveaway, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion.
Released Parties (Sponsor and its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents) are not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, damaged, or undeliverable entries or emails; or for any technical, network, or platform issues.
By entering, you release and hold harmless the Released Parties from any claims or causes of action arising out of participation or receipt/use of any prize.

Privacy

Information you provide will be used in accordance with Sponsor’s Privacy Policy. By entering, you consent to receive marketing emails from Sponsor; you can unsubscribe at any time.

Platform Disclaimer

This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Kickstarter or any social platform used to promote it.

Governing Law

All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of entrant and Sponsor, shall be governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules.
